Kari Gin

Handcrafted in Rwanda · 40% alc./vol. · 80 Proof.

Kari Gin is the second spirit from Virunga Mountain Spirits — and Rwanda’s most ambitious botanical expression to date. Ten carefully selected botanicals, including Kinigi potato flower, lemongrass, and gooseberry sourced from the volcanic terrain around the Virunga Mountains, are vapour-infused through a modified still. The result is a crystal-clear, floral and citrus-forward gin with a lively, layered finish. Produced as a one-shot gin — one defined recipe, one batch, no dilution — Kari is the standard of craft over volume. Proofed to 40% alc./vol. with gravity water from nearby volcanoes, Kari Gin is the spirit of Virunga.

“Kari Gin was the undisputed star of our event. If you’re looking for a gin that actually lives up to the craft label, this is it — smooth and floral, with notes that had our guests coming back for more.” — Trade client, Kari Gin tasting event, May 2026
