Kari Vodka, a premium craft potato vodka, is our flagship product. We will also produce other craft spirits for the local, regional, and export markets.

The site of our distillery is located at the foothills of the Virunga Mountains in Musanze, Rwanda. We are surrounded by rugged volcano peaks, the gorgeous Twin Lakes, Burera, and Ruhondo — and forests filled with rare birds and primates — the largest of them the mountain gorillas made famous by primatologist Dian Fossey.
Visit Virunga Mountain Spirits for tours and tastings, including exclusive, distillery-only vodkas infused with local fruits and botanicals. We can’t wait to show you our on-site grill with spectacular mountain views, opening in 2024!
